A Holiday message to my Friends, Fans and Follwers

A Time of Sharing and Caring

It is that time of year again when we all go out looking for the perfect gifts for friends and loved ones.  Let’s all remember to stop and be thankful for what we have be it health, wealth, family or friends.  We may not have all of the things we want on that list, but even if we have only one it could be more than other people have.  So let’s all try to do something, anything this holiday that you not normally do for someone or a group.  That one selfless act of kindness could change someone’s life this holiday season.  The expression "pay it forward" is used to describe the concept of asking the beneficiary of a good deed to repay it to others instead of to the original benefactor.  Let’s pay it forward this holiday season, pay it forward was not only a movie and a movement it should be the way we live our lives, a daily philosophy and words to live by.

My wish to all is a Very Happy Holiday Season

How to Loose Business

A Sunday Afternoon

Over the past few weekend my Father in law and his brother and I have spent a little extra time at the cabin on a building project, each week we try to make sure we are done by the football game and go to one of the local watering holes to watch it.  We had been going to a place called Lipsie Pines, they had a great waitress, good drinks and excellent pizza.  We went to the bar on the weekend of the final Nascar Race and to watch the football game as usual.  All started off well with a Bloody Mary, the Game on the big TV and the race on a Small TV behind the bar.  After the game had finished we asked for the race to be put on to the big screen so that we could watch the end of the race and order a pizza, that is where it started to all fall apart.  The owner and his son and some buddies came up front and said put the game on the TV, the waitress told them we were watching the race they said we could watch it om the small TV (note there are 3 big screen TVs 4 or 5 smaller ones).  the waitress told them we were going to leave and not order if they changed the channel, the owners son said bull**** we would not leave.  The channel was changed and we told the waitress that we would settle up with her and we were gone.  She was very nice and apologized over and over for something that was not her fault.  Last weekend was final weekend of deer hunting in WI. my Father in law and his brother after all had left stayed to watch Sunday night football but not at Lipsie Pines but at another bar call Pair O Lakes Lodge, the report came in that the food was good, drinks were good and they (the customer) got to watch what they wanted on the TV.

How Much TIME

Time, time, time

We all need time, we all want time.  I can remember in Middle and High school time went very slow or so it seemed.  During college and early married life I seemed to have enough time.  As the years have passed it seems that time became a rare commodity I always wanted more, more, and more.  There always something to do around the house that there was no time for little time to go to the lake or even little time to slow down.  A couple weeks ago I had my position eliminated by my employer and now I have lots of TIME, too much time.  I Know from now on I will never ask for more time again I will happily have a small time shortage.

FOR NOW TIME STANDS STILL

Google What you GET

Now I know what some of you may be thinking, that if I know what I'm going to get why would I google it that's not my point exactly.  I am still surprised that when people are looking for an answer, information or a video they will say that they cannot not figure this out.  Then my answer is to google it and you will get the desired results, ok maybe not every time but you may be surprised how often the answers lies within Google.  Case in point, my daughter (Miranda) wanted to know how to double space using the latest version of word, I was doing something at the time that she asked so I told her that I would be there in a minute.  When I went to see if I could help her she said it's all good I Googled it.  Now let's not tell her but if I could have not seen how to do it quickly that's what I would have done.

Therefore my friends Google it and you will GET it

Butch's Casino Steak House

Butch's Old Casino Steak House

Last weekend I went to Butch's I have been many times before, but now I would like to share my favorite with you.  The one item on the menu I always get is the Steer Fillet.  They say it has better marbling than the standard fillet.  I am not sure if it does but for the extra couple bucks I say get it because I have never had a bad one.  So if you are in Milwaukee WI stop by Butch's http://www.butchssteakhouse.com/
