Never make a job decision based on money

The mercenaries will always defeat the draftees, but the
volunteers will crush them both. Chuck Noll
People who are forced into something (draftees) will be the least effective, while those with external motivation (money in the case of the mercenaries) will be effective to a point. However , those with the internal drive , who have signed on because their hearts are in it, will rise to the top. Do something that you want, no love to do and the money will follow. Most of us will not have the same job in the near or distant future. why toll away at a job that is not personally rewarding. If you only work for money in the long run it will show most likely at work and at home, and is money worth ruining your life or health over. I for one think not.

Giving Notice

I wonder if a employee is expected to give 2 weeks notice before he leaves his job, do the employees have the right to the same expectation of their employer. If you change your terms it's expected but what if they change your terms of employment. Now I don't mean that if you are going to be fired that they should come up to you and say you suck and I'd just like to let you know that in two weeks your FIRED!!!! But what if the company is to be sold and there is no job guarantees shouldn't the employer let you know that a change is coming. I'm pretty sure that Benjamin Franklin said give me liberty or give me unemployment insurance.
